Life with Mario

Old friend of the FdA – Sean Murphy visited Camberwell on the 24^th April to take part in an 'in conversation with' Course Leader, Derek Yates in the FdA studio. The conversation took students through his education and later career. After graduating from Central St Martins, Sean worked at North  and after a sabattical at the RCA he went on to launch groundbreaking studio Value & Service where he worked with the likes of Charles Saatchi and Henry Booth Clibborn. Many stories later Sean described how he went on to work as a creative at Wieden & Kennedy before finally landing a job with the legendary fashion photographer, Mario Testino. Sean answered further questions from the students late into the night over a few pints in the Hermits Cave.
